About Gun
Gun is an open-world Western action-adventure title developed by Neversoft and released in 2005. Spanning a wide range of platforms—including the Nintendo GameCube (GCN / NGC), PlayStation 2 (PS2), Xbox, and PC, as well as a premier launch title for the Xbox 360—the game centers on the story of Colton White. The narrative follows Colton as he seeks revenge across the American West, interacting with historical figures and uncovering the truth behind his heritage. The gameplay is defined by its Quickdraw mechanic, a first-person slow-motion mode that allows for precision shooting, and its horse-riding combat which was noted for its fluidity and realism at the time of release.
