Backyard Football '99
Released in September 2025, Backyard Football '99 is a modern remaster of the original 1999 title that launched the football branch of the franchise. Developed by Mega Cat Studios through reverse engineering, this version brings the 5-on-5 neighborhood gridiron to modern devices while preserving the original’s hand-drawn 2D aesthetic. While it features the classic lineup of 30 "Backyard Kids" and 7 legendary NFL pros (as kids), please note that due to licensing changes in the 2025 release, Brett Favre has been replaced by the fictional character Chase Downfield.
