Backyard Football
Backyard Football (originally released in 1999) brought the series' signature neighborhood charm to the gridiron. While the PC and Mac versions utilized 2D hand-drawn sprites, the series made a jump to 3D for its console debuts on the PlayStation (PS1) and GameCube. Across all versions, the game is a 5-on-5 football sim featuring a mix of the "Backyard Kids" (like Pablo Sanchez) and professional NFL stars reimagined as children, such as Steve Young, Jerry Rice, and Dan Marino.
