A.IV Evolution: A-Ressha de Ikou 4

As a landmark title for the console, A.IV Evolution: A-Ressha de Ikou 4 (often simply called A.IV Evolution) holds a special place in history as one of the original launch titles for the PlayStation in Japan (released December 3, 1994). Developed by Artdink, it is an enhanced port of the PC title A-Train IV. It famously showcased the power of the new 32-bit hardware by introducing a 3D polygonal "view mode" to a series that had previously been strictly 2D. This version served as the foundation for the international release known as A-Train: Trains - Power - Money.
