Aces of the Air

Released in 2002 by Agetec and developed by Highwaystar, Aces of the Air is a budget-priced WWII flight simulator for the PlayStation. Unlike the high-speed jet action of the Ace Combat series, this title focuses on the slower, more deliberate dogfighting and bombing runs of vintage propeller planes. While its production values are modest, it offers a surprisingly focused historical experience for flight fans, featuring 10 missions and a variety of unlockable legendary aircraft from the Allied and Axis powers.
