Released in 1998, A Collection of Activision Classic Games for the Atari 2600 (often simply called Activision Classics) served as a digital museum for the PlayStation. It brought 30 of the most iconic titles from the early 1980s to a new generation, complete with authentic emulated sound and a minimalist, retro-themed interface. Developed by the wizards at Activision, this collection is notable for including not just "Activision" games, but also titles from Imagic, another legendary developer from the Atari era.
